Privacy Policy

TripFork (“we”, “our”, “us”) is a food trip planning tool. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights around it. We keep it short because we actually want you to read it.

Account data. When you sign up we store your email address via Supabase Auth. We do not store passwords — authentication is handled via magic links only.

Trip data. Any itineraries, destinations, and preferences you create in TripFork are stored in our Supabase database tied to your account.

Usage data. We may collect anonymous usage analytics (page views, feature interactions) to improve the product. No personal information is attached to these events.

Location data. If you allow it, your browser shares your current location to calculate distances to restaurants on the map. This is processed client-side and never sent to our servers.

We use your data to: provide the TripFork service, personalise your food itineraries, save your trip history, and send transactional emails (magic link sign-in, account confirmations).

We do not sell your data, share it with advertisers, or use it for any purpose other than running TripFork.

TripFork is built on third-party infrastructure. The following services process your data as part of normal operation:

• Supabase — authentication and database (EU region)
• Google Gemini — AI itinerary generation (your prompt is sent to Google)
• Nominatim / OSRM — open-source geocoding and road routing (no account data sent)
• Vercel — hosting and edge delivery

TripFork uses cookies only for session management (keeping you signed in). We do not use third-party tracking cookies or advertising cookies.

Your account and trip data are kept for as long as your account is active. You can delete individual trips from your dashboard at any time. To delete your account and all associated data, email us at the address below.

You have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at aditya@apachpande.com.

We may update this policy from time to time. We'll update the “Last updated” date at the top. Continued use of TripFork after changes means you accept the updated policy.
